One of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers tapped us to reimagine their outdated public safety platform. By deeply understanding how first responders work and integrating modern tech like GPS, cameras, sensors, and social data, we created detailed use cases and visionary prototypes for a smarter, more effective system.This project included: Research, UX Design, Prototypes, Design Systems, and Web Engineering.
The former platform was a mixture of multiple, unrelated systems that didn't communicate with one another. As they were each designed organically, over time, the user interfaces were widely dissimilar, resulting in a steep learning curve, and frequent user error.
